Budget situation and property tax increase in focus
City Council Chairwoman Ingrid Zimmermann invites you to this year's town meeting on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The event begins at 7 p.m. in Meeting Room C of City Hall and will be broadcast live.
Main topic: Financial and budget situation
The focus will be on the current financial situation of the city of Griesheim. The administration will explain the reasons behind the strained budget situation and address the approved property tax increase. Questions from a citizens' initiative regarding the property tax increase will also be answered.
Open question session and exchange
In addition to the main topic, the town hall meeting offers space for other current issues. In an open question-and-answer session, participants can address their concerns directly to the mayor and the administration. Citizens who participate digitally can also ask questions and submit suggestions via the chat function.
