Mayor Feick calls for registration – campaign starts on May 17th
The town of Reinheim is participating again this year in the nationwide City Cycling , which takes place from May 17th to June 6th, 2025. Mayor Manuel Feick encourages participation: "Register and join the cycling challenge – City Cycling 2025!"
The aim of the three-week competition is to accumulate as many kilometers as possible through cycling in everyday life – whether commuting to work, school, or during leisure time. It's not just about sporting ambition, but above all about actively contributing to climate protection and sending a visible signal for the promotion of cycling in the community.
Both individuals and teams – such as those from clubs, schools, companies, or families – can participate. Registration is now open online at www.stadtradeln.de . Reinheim is entering the competition together with the Darmstadt-Dieburg district.
The search is not only for Germany's most bicycle-friendly municipalities, but also for the most dedicated teams and individual cyclists in each location. The campaign is coordinated annually by the Climate Alliance and takes place in numerous cities and towns throughout Germany.
