The series “City Stories – Then and Now” will continue
The event series "City Stories – Then and Now" continues at the Haus Raiss municipal senior citizens' day center in Groß-Gerau. The next meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the facility located at Frankfurter Straße 46.
Under the motto "Local history in a different way", Lebrecht Viebahn senior and Herta Merz report interesting and entertaining facts about the history of the city.
Lectures on the history of the Gerau region
Lebrecht Viebahn reads a lecture by former museum director Ernst Schneider entitled "Gerauer Land – Land of Unique Democratic Character." Afterwards, Herta Merz explores the question "Who is a Gerer?" and thus sheds light on local identity and history in an entertaining way.
The city's senior citizens' services invite all interested parties to the event. Admission is free, and registration is not required.
