Tunnel closed between 8 pm and 5 am on December 10th and 11th.
As announced by the press office of the City of Darmstadt, the City Tunnel will be completely closed overnight from Wednesday, December 10th, to Thursday, December 11th, due to work on the tunnel ceiling. The closure will begin at 8 p.m. and end at 5 a.m.
Access to parking garages is partially restricted.
During the nighttime work, the Wilhelmin parking garage will be inaccessible. However, the entrance and exit to the Q-Park parking garage via Rheinstraße will remain open. Access via Hügelstraße will also be possible.
Background of the measure
The work is for the maintenance of the tunnel ceiling and, for safety reasons, must be carried out during a full night closure.
