Mobile network work from June 2nd to 4th and from June 10th to 12th, 2025 – parking garages will remain accessible
Due to modernization work on mobile network coverage, there will be nightly closures and traffic disruptions in the Darmstadt City Tunnel during June. The tunnel entrance from Rheinstraße will be affected on several nights.
Overview of restricted hours:
- Monday, June 2nd to Wednesday, June 4th:
Nightly closure of the Rheinstraße tunnel entrance from 8 pm to 7 am . - Tuesday, June 10 to Thursday, June 12:
Nighttime restrictions in the tunnel from 8 pm to 5 am .
During the closures, work will be carried out to modernize the mobile network infrastructure . Parking garages in the city center will remain accessible throughout. No work during the Schloßgrabenfest (June 5–8) , so there no restrictions in the tunnel during this period.
