Modernization of mobile communications technology
Deutsche Telekom plans to modernize its mobile communications site at Wasserweg 37 in Groß-Gerau. During the second week of the year, the site will be equipped with the latest antenna and system technology to provide the residents of the district town with a future-proof network.
Once the work is completed, 2G, 4G, and 5G will be available in the area. The work is expected to be finished this week. During the upgrade, there may be temporary disruptions to mobile network coverage. If affected devices are connected to Wi-Fi, the work will generally not be noticeable.
