New construction phase between Hammelstrift and Siemensstraße
Construction work on Jägertorstraße in Darmstadt will continue. A new phase of construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, January 26th, between the Hammelstrift junction and the Jägertorstraße/Siemensstraße intersection. The work is expected to be completed by summer 2026.
The existing full closure of Jägertorstraße to motor vehicle traffic will remain in effect during this construction phase. The detour route will be adapted to the new section and signposted accordingly.
Use for cycling and pedestrian traffic remains possible
Cyclists and pedestrians can continue to use Jägertorstraße during the construction phase. The same applies to residents of Elisabeth-Hattemer-Straße, for whom access will remain guaranteed.
