Free training for educational professionals on December 1st in Darmstadt
Darmstadt. On Monday, December 1, 2025, starting at 9:00 a.m. , the addiction prevention agencies of the Darmstadt-Dieburg district and the city of Darmstadt ROPE e.V. network ) educational professionals to a training course at the HoffArt Theater (Lauteschlägerstraße 28A, 64289 Darmstadt). Participation is free of charge , but registration by November 21 via email to fsp@ladadi.de (including personal details, institution, and contact information) is required.
Content & Objectives
- Early detection and action: Raising awareness and strengthening confidence in dealing with children from families affected by addiction
- Compact knowledge: Basics of addiction and family structures , roles of children and professionals, legal framework
- Practical: Regional contact points, support and prevention services

Mayor Barbara Akdeniz : “ Children in difficult life situations have a high risk of developing mental health disorders and addictions. Stable caregivers and early support services can offer protection. This is precisely where the training comes in – it strengthens confidence in action and promotes a culture of awareness.”

With our ongoing training program, we want to contribute to ensuring that more and more professionals can competently fulfill this important task.”
