The 42nd edition attracts visitors with 40 stalls on the last weekend of March
The popular creative market will take place again in the Groß-Gerau town hall on the last weekend of March. The event will be held on Saturday, March 28th, and Sunday, March 29th, 2026, marking its 42nd edition .
A total of 40 stalls are spread across two floors of the town hall, offering a wide selection of handcrafted products. Visitors can discover, among other things, spring decorations, sewn items, paper crafts, and handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces made from wool, wood, and other materials.
Creative market with a long tradition
The creative market has been a fixture on the Groß-Gerau event calendar for decades. The first event took place back in 1984, initiated by the "Initiative GG" led by Ursula and Pedro Warnke.
Many of the exhibitors have been participating for years, while new craftspeople regularly join. The high demand was also evident in 2026: there were once again more applications than available booth spaces.
Opening by the First City Councillor
The creative market will be opened on Saturday, March 28th, at 12 noon by the First City Councillor Jürgen Schulz.
The market is open on Saturday from 12 pm to 6 pm and on Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. Admission is free.
The swimming and jazz and modern dance departments of TV Groß-Gerau will provide the catering on both days.
