Alina Hesse and Dieter Stiewi present their latest crime novels at the WoGo United youth center.
To celebrate National Crime Fiction Day, the Cultural Office and Youth Office of the Büchner town of Riedstadt invite you to an exciting crime fiction reading Monday, December 8th, starting at 7 p.m. the WoGo United Goddelau Youth Center (Weidstraße 29a) . Tickets cost €6 and are available at reservix.de , as well as at the reception desk of Riedstadt Town Hall and the Faktotum bookstore . Admission is free for children and teenagers. At the reading, two regional crime writers will present their works.
Alina Hesse , author and book blogger from Rüsselsheim, writes in the genres of fantasy and crime.
Dieter Stiewi from Offenbach writes crime novels and short stories in the realm of speculative fiction.

Death in the Circus: “Tightrope Act – Death & Circus” by Alina Hesse
In this Hessian crime novel, the Asombroso Circus center stage. Young journalist Nika Gruen wants to see her brother Ferenc again and report on the dress rehearsal – but Ferenc falls to his death during his performance. Although the police assume it was an accident, Nika has her doubts. Together with her parrot Pearl, she follows a trail that leads her deep into the secrets of the circus – to a place where inexplicable things happen away from the ring.

A woman's body washes ashore at the Main weir, and shortly afterward, a second body is found on the edge of the harbor island. Both victims were bludgeoned to death with the same weapon – and both were involved in a heated online argument the evening before their deaths. But who are the women? And are the cases truly connected? Or is the investigation leading in a completely different direction?
