Music, cabaret and rock classics in the beer garden of the Old Court
The popular GG LOKAL summer cultural will enter its fifth year in 2025. From June 14th to July 12th, audiences can once again expect a diverse program of musical cabaret, live music, and tribute shows – all outdoors in the beer garden of the Altes Gericht restaurant at Darmstädter Straße 31.
Despite the current provisional budget, the city of Groß-Gerau is once again able to offer cultural highlights thanks to the cooperation with the Kulturcafé Groß-Gerau association and other partners. Mayor Jörg Rüddenklau praised the collaboration: "This year we are all the more grateful for the cooperation, as organizing an event on behalf of the district capital would not be possible under the provisional budget."
Four summer evenings, four highlights
- Saturday, June 14 : Cabaret artist Daniel Helfrich opens the summer cultural season with his program "I was just what I needed" . Sharp humor meets virtuoso piano playing.
- Saturday, June 21 : The Oberursel band frisch gepresst delivers handmade rock music with classics from Pink Floyd, Genesis, Queen and Peter Gabriel.
- Saturday, July 5th : The duo Love on the Rocks from Groß-Gerau impresses with guitar sounds, hits from the 70s to the 90s and their own songs – charming and varied.
- Saturday, July 12 : Cherry Gang concludes the cultural summer with a powerful tribute show to the hard and glam rock greats of the 80s.
Tickets and venue
All events start at 7:30 pm , doors open at 6:30 pm . Tickets cost between €15.00 and €18.00 . Tickets are available at:

The events will take place in the atmospheric beer garden of the Old Courthouse , and in alternative rooms if the weather is bad.
