Discussion on the rapid implementation of sustainable mobility concepts on February 3rd in Darmstadt
The Darmstadt Working Group on Urban Development and Mobility of the Green Party (BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN) invites to a public event entitled "More Speed – How We Can Shape Mobility for the Future" Tuesday, February 3, 2026. The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Heiner-Lehr-Zentrum, Kopernikusplatz 1, in Darmstadt. Admission is free.
The event will focus on how sustainable mobility concepts – especially for cycling and walking – can be implemented more quickly and consistently. The aim is to provide impetus for future-proof, livable mobility in Darmstadt and to promote professional exchange.
The event begins with a presentation by transport planner Jan Annendijck, examples from Frankfurt. This will be followed by time for discussion and exchange. Also on the panel are Stefan Opitz , transport policy spokesperson for the Green Party in Darmstadt, as well as working group spokespersons Stefanie Scholz and Martin Duyster .
