Discussion on the rapid implementation of sustainable mobility concepts on February 3rd in Darmstadt
The Darmstadt Working Group on Urban Development and Mobility of the Green Party (BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN) invites Tuesday, February 3, 2026.to a public event entitled "More Speed – How We Can Shape Mobility for the Future" The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Heiner-Lehr-Zentrum, Kopernikusplatz 1, in Darmstadt. Admission is free.
The event will focus on how sustainable mobility concepts – especially for cycling and walking – can be implemented more quickly and consistently. The aim is to provide impetus for future-proof, livable mobility in Darmstadt and to promote professional exchange.
The event begins with a presentation by transport planner Jan Annendijck, examples from Frankfurt. This will be followed by time for discussion and exchange. Also on the panel are Stefan Opitz, transport policy spokesperson for the Green Party in Darmstadt, as well as working group spokespersons Stefanie Scholz and Martin Duyster.
