The association sees improvement in the quality of stay in the city center through clear rules
Darmstadt Citymarketing EV expressly supports the initiative of the Science City of Darmstadt for a new hazard hazard regulation. From the association's point of view, the regulation is an important step to increase the quality of stay and security in the city center.
"The traders in the city center rely on an orderly public space in which customers can feel comfortable," explains Moritz Koch, chairman of the City Marketing Association. The new regulation is responding to developments that have increasingly been perceived as annoying in recent years.
City marketing is particularly welcomed that in the future, stricter requirements for storing and begging should apply in the city center. "In these areas, our members repeatedly report situations in which guests and customers felt imposed or uncomfortable," continued Koch. It is not about the criminal relevance of individual behaviors, but about the subjective feeling of security of people.
The association emphasizes that the new regulation is not just a symbolic policy, but can also cause concrete improvements. "Our members from trade, gastronomy, hotel industry and services would understand the implementation of the regulation as a sign of appreciation by the city," Koch concluded.
