Reading stage at the Literaturhaus Darmstadt on March 4th
On Wednesday, March 4th, Daniel Mylow's collection of short stories, "Das Weiß zerrissenen Papiers" (The White Torn Paper), will be presented at the Literaturhaus Darmstadt (Kasinostraße 3). The event begins at 7:30 pm; admission is free.
The volume was published in autumn 2025 and contains etchings by Walter Rockenbauch. Thematically, the book embarks on a literary journey into the lives of forgotten poets such as Hans Bernhard Schiff, Christian Dietrich Grabbe, and Wilhelm Waibl. The focus is on biographies in which writing became an existential question.
Moderation and musical accompaniment
Daniel Mylow, who also participated in the Darmstadt text workshop, will be moderated this evening by Kurt Drawert and Michael Hüttenberger.
Gudrun-Lang Eurisch on double bass and Matthias Schubert on piano will provide musical accompaniment. This combines literature and music into a unique evening program.
