The Lilies defeated SC Preußen Münster 1-0 (0-0) undefeated at home throughout the first half of the season Killian Corredor scored the decisive goal with a header – securing points 30, 31, and 32 for the team from southern Hesse.
In the early stages, Darmstadt initially ceded more possession to the visitors. However, Münster struggled to create any real danger and failed to register any significant shots on goal. The Lilies patiently waited for their opportunities and became more active towards the end of the first half: In the 28th minute, Isac Lidberg and Marco Richter narrowly missed a dangerous cross from Corredor. Despite the visitors' apparent advantage in possession, the first half ended goalless – without Preußen Münster managing a single shot on target.
After the break, Münster showed more attacking courage, but SV 98 remained dangerous on the counter-attack. Lidberg tried a long-range lob in the 53rd minute, but narrowly missed the target. Four minutes later came the decisive goal: Richter curled the ball from the edge of the penalty area against the underside of the crossbar, Corredor reacted quickest to head it in for 1-0 (57').
As a result, Darmstadt controlled the game, maintaining a compact defense and launching repeated counter-attacks. Münster struggled to find a way through the well-organized defense, allowing Darmstadt to comfortably see out the narrow victory.
