SV Darmstadt 98 lost their away match against SSV Ulm 1-2 (0-0). After a first half with few chances, the hosts made the better start to the second half and took a 2-0 lead within minutes. Clemens Riedel pulled one back for Darmstadt from a corner, but they couldn't find an equalizer. Despite a spirited finish, they suffered a narrow defeat.
