SV Darmstadt 98 lost the away game at SSV Ulm 1: 2 (0-0). After a low -chance first half, the hosts caught the better start to the second round and took the lead 2-0 within a few minutes. Clemens Riedel brought the lilies back after a corner, but the equalization no longer wanted to succeed. Despite the combative final phase, the narrow defeat remained.
