Laura Odenwälder joins the executive board – Carolin Buchsteiner-Pohl takes over the industry committee
The Darmstadt Rhine-Main-Neckar Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) has completed its executive board. At the general assembly on September 11, 2025, Laura Odenwälder , Managing Director of the Odenwälder Construction Machinery Group in Mörlenbach, was elected as the new Vice President . She succeeds Christian Jöst , who was elected as the new IHK President in June.
New voice in the presidium
Odenwälder, a 32-year-old business graduate, has been a member of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) General Assembly since 2024 and has been involved in voluntary work for many years, including with the Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Mörlenbach Business Association. With her appointment, the seven-member IHK Executive Board is now complete again.
Change at the top of the Industry Committee
Industry Committee also has a new leader: Carolin Buchsteiner-Pohl , Managing Director of Bröking Plastex GmbH & Co. KG in Griesheim, was elected Chair. She succeeds Christian Jöst and brings her experience from the General Assembly and her previous committee work.
