Restrictions following the local elections from March 16th to 18th
Following the local elections on March 15, 2026, the Darmstadt Citizens' and Public Order Office will have restrictions on public services. The office in the city of Darmstadt will be closed for regular business from Monday, March 16, to Wednesday, March 18, 2026 .
The reason is the counting of votes from the local elections, which is being carried out in the premises of the Citizens' and Public Order Office.
Some areas remain in operation
Despite the closure, certain departments within the administration will remain operational. These include the city police, the veterinary and consumer protection department, and the vehicle registration office. These departments will continue to work as usual during the vote count.
