Work on the tunnel ceiling requires nighttime traffic restrictions
In mid-October, there will be nighttime traffic restrictions in the city center of Darmstadt:
From Monday, October 20, to Wednesday, October 22, 2025 , the Darmstadt City Tunnel completely closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. to work on the tunnel ceiling , which can only be carried out during the night.
During the closures, the Wilhelmin parking garage be closed. However, the entrance and exit to the Q-Park parking garage via Rheinstrasse will remain open throughout.
Road users are asked to avoid the area and pay attention to the signs on site.
