Renovation work in the entrance area – Regional gallery extends exhibition
Due to necessary renovation work in the entrance area, the Kollegiengebäude at Luisenplatz in Darmstadt will remain closed to visitors from Monday, July 13th, until and including Friday, July 17th, 2026.
Visitors to the Darmstadt Regional Council (RP) will be redirected to the adjacent Wilhelminenhaus at Wilhelminenstraße 1–3 during this period. The main building will be accessible again as usual from Monday, July 20.
The Regional Gallery of Southern Hesse in the university building is also affected by the temporary closure. The current exhibition, "Complex Networks," will therefore be extended and will now be on display until Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
Due to the great interest in the exhibition, artists Felicithas Arndt and Gabriele Nold are offering a closing event. This will take place on Tuesday, September 1st, at 5 pm. The artists will provide insights into the creation and production of their works.
