The festival is entering its anniversary season
The 10th Darmstadt Crime Days (since 2014, cancelled due to Corona in 2020/21) offer five exciting evenings of readings in the Bessunger Knabenschule and conclude the week on Saturday with the winning film of the German Television Crime Festival Wiesbaden in the Citydome Darmstadt.
A few things have changed: Alfred Hofmann, co-founder of the Crime Days, has retired. And crime talk show host Chris Gude has also said goodbye. We thank him for the many years of excellent collaboration. On Monday, we begin with "inner" values; on Tuesday, two historical crime films take us back to the Imperial era. Wednesday is dedicated to two strong women on their quest for self-discovery. On Thursday, we travel to the far north, and finally, on Friday, Bernhard Aichner takes us into dark "emotional realms" with the first installment of his revenge series.
As always, the destination of the German Television Crime Award winner's film remains a surprise until the very last minute. The winning production will be announced on March 14th and will then be presented fresh in Darmstadt.
