Mayor Hanno Benz honors 18 graduates for outstanding achievements
As the City of Darmstadt announced, Mayor and Head of Human Resources Hanno Benz honored city trainees on Monday (November 24) for their outstanding results in the 2025 final examinations. The ceremony took place in the council chamber.
Recognition for outstanding achievements
The mayor personally congratulated the graduates and emphasized the importance of strong young talent for the administration. Their achievements reflected both high professional competence and great commitment. Benz stressed that the results send an important signal for the future of the city administration.
18 young professionals were honored
A total of 18 employees were honored for completing their apprenticeships with a grade of 1 or 2. The group comes from various departments:
- three female civil servants in the higher service
- two officers in the higher fire service
- five female and male civil servants in the intermediate fire service
- a gardener
- five state-certified educators
- an administrative assistant
- an administrative specialist
Looking ahead to the professional future of those being honored, Benz was optimistic: Well-trained young professionals are an asset to the administration and thus to the city's society.
