Adjustments to polling stations ahead of the election on March 15th
For the local elections on March 15, 2026, there will be changes in individual electoral districts and polling stations in Darmstadt compared to the federal elections in 2025.
The following adjustments were made:
Renaming of the Kyritz School
The polling station formerly known as "Kyritzschule" for electoral districts 130, 140, and 150 has been renamed "Kyritzschule." The location remains unchanged. This is because the Kyritzschule is now an independent school again and no longer houses a branch of the Goetheschule.
New name for the annex of the Peter Behrens School
The polling station “Interim building Erasmus-Kittler-School” for electoral district 60 will also remain at its current location, but will henceforth be called “Peter-Behrens-School – Annex”.
Return to the Ludwig-Georgs-Gymnasium
Polling districts 540, 550, and 560, which were most recently located in the Alice-Eleonoren-School at Kapellplatz, have now returned to the Ludwig-Georgs-Gymnasium. The renovations there are complete, and the premises are fully accessible.
