Successes at finals in Dresden and German Championship title in BMX Freestyle
Darmstadt. Great sporting successes for Darmstadt: Mayor and Head of Sports Hanno Benz congratulated the athletes Henry Graf , Lisa Tertsch (both triathlon, DSW 1912), the sports acrobats Lina Binzilja , Alexandra Trotsenko and Lilli Völger (all SG Arheilgen) as well as Philipp Muth (BMX Freestyle) on their recent successes at the national level.
Henry Graf and Lisa Tertsch won German championship titles at the 2025 finals in Dresden :
- Henry Graf won gold in the men's singles competition as well as in the mixed relay together with Carlotta Bülck, Fabian Kraft and Finja Schierl.
- Lisa Tertsch secured the title in the women's singles ranking third time in a row .
sports acrobats of SG Arheilgen also impressed in Dresden :
- Lina Binzilja , Alexandra Trotsenko and Lilli Völger won silver in the junior women's group competition .
In the BMX Freestyle Philipp Muth won the title of German Champion after prevailing against strong competition at the competitions in Darmstadt.
Mayor Benz emphasized:
"I congratulate these athletes on their impressive achievements. Their extraordinary performances make them exceptional athletes. Their individual commitment and the exemplary work of their clubs contribute significantly to Darmstadt's sporting profile, which shines far beyond the city limits."
Benz also emphasized the importance of good training infrastructure in the science city:
"I am pleased that we can offer you and your clubs well-developed sports and training facilities in Darmstadt, where you could and can prepare professionally for your competitions."
