Cube brand bicycle seized after inspection in Herrngarten
Police in Darmstadt are searching for the rightful owner of a blue Cube brand mountain bike. The bicycle was seized on Wednesday, January 21, after a check in the Herrngarten park.
Suspicion after check in Herrngarten
Plainclothes officers from the South Hesse Police Headquarters stopped a 38-year-old man who was carrying a mountain bike. Based on the overall circumstances, the officers suspected that the man might not be the rightful owner. He could not provide proof of ownership, nor was he able to offer a plausible explanation of where the bicycle came from.
The mountain bike was subsequently seized. Initial investigations suggest it may have originated in the Darmstadt or Lorsch area.

The police are asking anyone who recognizes the bicycle or has information about the possible owner to contact the Darmstadt Criminal Police (K35). Claims of ownership should be supported by suitable evidence if possible.
