Full closure of Heimstättenweg – replacement stops for bus line H
The city of Darmstadt is resurfacing the road at the "Am Kaiserschlag" 2025 road resurfacing program . From Monday, October 6th, until approximately October 24th, the damaged asphalt surface between Am Pelz and Am Kaiserschlag milled off and replaced. The project will cost around €59,000 .
Traffic restrictions and detours
During the construction period, Heimstättenweg between Am Pelz and Am Kaiserschlag is completely closed .
- The street Am Pelz ends as a dead end from the north.
- Access for residents of properties at Heimstättenweg 66 and 68 remains guaranteed.
- The public parking spaces at Straubplatz are unusable.
- Sidewalks are not affected by the measure.
Traffic will be diverted:
- From the east via Klausenburger Straße and Pulverhäuserweg .
- From the west via Pulverhäuserweg and Klausenburger Straße .
Bus route H and replacement stops
Bus route H will be diverted via Eschollbrücker Straße , Pulverhäuserweg and Klausenburger Straße . Temporary bus stops will be set up.
- Outbound: Eschollbrücker Straße near Haardtring (“Riedstraße”) and near Pulverhäuserweg (“Forstweg”)
- Towards the city center: Klausenburger Straße at number 84
