Focus on “Future Skills” - over 600 courses in the program
The new spring semester at the Darmstadt adult education center (VHS) begins on Monday, March 10. With over 600 courses at more than 40 locations, the VHS offers a varied program for those interested in learning. The current semester is under the motto "Future Skills" and is specifically devoted to skills that are becoming increasingly important in a changing world.
As the Darmstadt press office reports in a message, educational director Holger Klötzner emphasizes the relevance of this topic:
“Future Skills can help to deal with the challenges of tomorrow. They enable people to classify information and remain capable of acting. I am pleased that the VHS Darmstadt provides a wide range of offers this semester to strengthen exactly these skills. ”
Diverse program for all areas of life
The course offer of the VHS covers a wide range of topics, including:
- Health & Personality Development
- Intercultural skills
- Climate protection in everyday life
- Vocational training & digital skills
In order to enable as many people as possible, weekly courses, individual events in the evening and weekend offers available. There are also 41 educational holidays in the program.
A special focus is on the m² at the Bürgerpark , the youngest VHS location. Open meetings and free events are offered there . In addition, there is a free advisory service for vocational training as part of the educational point Monday to Thursday .
