Focus on “Future Skills” – over 600 courses in the program
The new spring semester at the Darmstadt Adult Education Center (VHS) begins on Monday, March 10. With over 600 courses at more than 40 locations, the VHS offers a diverse program for those interested in learning. The current semester's theme is "Future Skills," focusing specifically on competencies that are becoming increasingly important in a changing world.
As the Darmstadt press office announced in a press release, Head of Education Holger Klötzner emphasized the relevance of this topic:
“Future skills can help us deal with the challenges of tomorrow. They empower people to classify information and remain capable of taking action. I am pleased that the Darmstadt adult education center (vhs Darmstadt) is offering a wide range of courses this semester to strengthen precisely these skills.”
Diverse program for all areas of life
The adult education center's course offerings cover a wide range of topics, including:
- Health & Personal Development
- Intercultural skills
- Climate protection in everyday life
- Professional development & digital skills
To enable participation for as many people as possible, week-long courses, individual evening events, and weekend programs available. In addition, 41 educational leave options offered.
A special focus is placed on the M² at Bürgerpark , the newest VHS location. Open meetings and free events free consultations on are available Monday through Thursday as part of the Bildungspunkt (Education Point) program .
