City marketing Darmstadt brings a game offer for children to the city center together with Volksbank
From July 11th to August 3, 2025, forecourt of the Centralstation in the Carree will turn back into a popular meeting point for families: the Darmstadt water playground you to splash around every day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Buckets, channels and pools make the offer an experience, especially for children up to ten years.

The campaign is part of the inner city development concept , which is intended to promote specifically family -friendly offers in the center. "With the water playground lasting several weeks, we would like to create an offer for families again in the summer months," explains City Marketing Chairman Moritz Koch .
Water fun with concept
The mobile water playground system Wasserpielmobil © was developed especially for use in city centers, daycare centers and events. It is TÜV-tested, sample-protected and is used across Germany. While the children play, seating and the surrounding gastronomy invite the parents to linger.

Strong partners from the region
The project is presented by the Volksbank Kinderzeit of Volksbank Darmstadt Mainz . "We are happy to support the water playground as an attractive attraction for families," emphasizes Stefan Krüger , speaker for social engagement.
Other supporters of the campaign include the science city of Darmstadt Marketing GmbH , the advertising association Carree , Toys Faix and Fratz - the family magazine as a media partner.
