Insights in funeral culture and grief support on March 15th
On March 15, 2025, Kahrhof invites burials to a special open house under the motto "This is about life and death". In an open atmosphere, visitors get insights into farewell, grief and precaution.
With a varied program, visitors can learn more about farewell, grief and provision in an open and appreciative atmosphere. In addition to impulse lectures, tours and creative hands-on offers (painting coffin, screen printing workshop and more.) There are insights into different aspects of burial culture: from dealing with children in mourning, sustainable funeral floristry and the five phases of death to contemporary graves and the meaning of Funeral provision.

Another program item is the greeting from Heike Hofmann , Hessian Minister of Labor, Integration, Youth and Social Affairs, which accompanies the day as part of the Hesse -wide day of undertaker .
