Jazz, gospel and Christmas classics on December 13th in the Protestant Church
Nauheim. On Saturday, December 13, 2025 , the Dazz Trio to a special at 5 p.m. in the Evangelical Church of Nauheim (Heinrich-Kaul-Platz). Admission is free ; donations are welcome.
With a program of German and international Christmas carols , gospel , pop songs , and jazz standards , the ensemble provides a festive musical prelude to the Advent season . The concert blends diverse soundscapes into an atmospheric whole.
“We want to make good music that leaves plenty of room for sounds, but can also be captivating. We are particularly interested in the transitions between jazz, pop and Christmas folklore – a good portion of everything, that’s Dazz Trio,” says Hannes Riedl , leader of the group, who was awarded Nauheim Music Award for his life’s work
The ensemble presents itself with the following lineup:
- Astrid Nowotny (vocals)
- Bernd Uphoff (Piano)
- Uli Franck (double bass)
- Hannes Riedl (saxophone)
The audience can expect a concert that jazzy lightness with Christmas warmth – a special musical highlight in Nauheim's Advent season.
