BüchnerBühne invites you to an open meeting at the BüchnerHaus
The BüchnerBühne theater company is planning a new project on the history of democracy and is seeking participants from the region. As the association BüchnerFindetStatt announces, interested parties are invited to an open meeting on Sunday, April 19th, at 3 p.m. in the art gallery at the BüchnerHaus.
Admission is free.
Theatre project with historical and contemporary relevance
A play entitled "Freedom for Krähwinkel" is planned for performance in the summer of 2027. Thematically, the project explores the Paulskirche Revolution of 1848 and applies its central themes to current social issues.
The aim is to present the development of democratic values and their significance for the present in a comprehensible way.
Open participation from society and politics
The project is intentionally designed to be broad in scope: In addition to members of the club, citizens, local initiatives and actors from local politics are also invited to get involved or participate on stage.
At the meeting, artistic director Christian Suhr presents his ideas and encourages active participation.
Democracy as a shared project
The central question is how democratic values arise, are passed on, and are defended. The theatre project aims not only to convey historical context but also to encourage active engagement with current developments.
The initiators see the theater as a space for encounters and social dialogue. The goal is to encourage people to actively participate in the community and to help shape democratic processes.
