New online service aims to simplify the application process
The city of Griesheim has expanded its digital citizen services with another offering. Since October 1st, an online form for naturalization has been available on the city's website.
Foreign nationals who wish to apply for German citizenship can upload the necessary documents via the form before their personal consultation. This is intended to simplify and expedite the process.
The uploaded documents make it easier to transfer information into the naturalization application. However, a personal appearance at the town hall is still required for the final application.
