New online service aims to facilitate application
The city of Griesheim has expanded its digital citizen service with another offering. Since October 1, an online naturalization form has been available on the city's website.
Foreign nationals wishing to apply for German citizenship can use the form to upload the necessary documents prior to their personal consultation. This is intended to simplify and expedite the process.
The uploaded documents make it easier to include information in the naturalization application. However, a personal appearance at the city hall is still required to complete the application.
