Starting September 28th, weekly assistance will be provided at the Georg-August-Zinn-Haus in Griesheim
The existing senior citizens' internet meeting will transform into a digital consultation hour September 28, 2025. Every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., volunteer tutors will be available in the meeting room of the Georg-August-Zinn-Haus to offer support to senior citizens in using digital devices.
"We are your digital guide, accompanying you on the path to using new media safely. Get to know your smartphone, tablet or notebook better and get answers to questions about specific applications of your device," say the tutors.
Individual help – free and practical
The volunteers answer questions about smartphones, tablets, and laptops , help with individual problem solving, and, if needed, take more time in follow-up appointments. The support is free ; participants should bring their own device.
The digital world opens up new possibilities in everyday life – from cost savings to practical applications. In a pleasant atmosphere and with consideration for security aspects, participants are guided step by step at their own pace.
