From 28 September, weekly help at the Georg-August-Zinn-Haus in Griesheim
The current senior citizens' internet meeting point will be transformed into a digital consultation hour September 28, 2025. Every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., volunteer tutors will be available in the assembly room of the Georg-August-Zinn-Haus to provide support to senior citizens in using digital devices.
"We are your digital guide, accompanying you on your path to confident use of new media. Get to know your smartphone, tablet, or notebook better and clarify questions about specific applications on your device," say the tutors.
Individual help – free and practical
The volunteers answer questions about smartphones, tablets, and laptops , help with individual problem solving, and, if necessary, take additional time for follow-up appointments. Support is free of charge ; you should bring your own device.
The digital world opens up new possibilities in everyday life – from cost savings to practical applications. In a pleasant atmosphere and with safety considerations, participants are guided step by step at their own pace.
