Volunteer help for older people: dates, locations, registration
Riedstadt. To reduce barriers to the digital world , the women's and equal opportunities officer, Jennifer Muth, a volunteer advisory service for older people. The service provides practical, free, and local using computers and smartphones
Where and when?
- Wolfskehlen Library: usually every 1st and 3rd Wednesday , 9–11 a.m.
Next available dates: Wed, 5 November 2025 and Wed, 19 November 2025 , 9–11 a.m. - Goddelau (Town Hall Rooms): Mobile phone consultation by another volunteer expert.
Note: November dates are fully booked – registration for later dates is possible.
On-site, a female and a male IT specialist with many years of experience (Wolfskehlen) or a female specialist (Goddelau) will provide individual advice on questions relating to settings, apps, security, photos, emails, updates and much more.
Further support in everyday life
For senior citizens who alone at home and need help with minor DIY problems (e.g., lamp, remote control, router, cable), the equal opportunities officer also arranges voluntary support .
