Separation of the modauction bridge and access restrictions by 2027
The overall renovation of the district administration of Eberstadt begins in early July 2025. As the science city of Darmstadt announces, the construction site at the Oberstraße 7 and 11 Wednesday, July 2 . The work- including pollutant renovation, demolition, shell construction and roof work- is to be completed second quarter of 2027
Access via modaau bridge temporarily blocked
For security reasons, the access to the west of the main building blocked, since construction site traffic must be strictly separated from public ways. In this context, access via the Modaubrücke not be temporarily usable. The city announces that this closure can be lifted again as early as possible .
City library remains accessible
The Eberstadt branch of the city library remains accessible throughout the construction period - via the path east of the district administration , i.e. left of the building from Rathausplatz .
Temporary noise emissions can occur during the construction work. The city asks residents and visitors for understanding.
