Fastnachtsdisco Ü60 instead of crepe café
The planned crop café, which was planned for February 23, 2025 in the town hall, must cancel the district town of Groß-Gerau. The reason for this is that the district town of Groß-Gerau is currently in the provisional housekeeping and no expenses for voluntary services can be made. Despite the intensive efforts of the Carneval Association and the GGV Stadtwerke with the responsible department of the district town, Sabine Hoffmann, implementation was not feasible.
“Unfortunately, an event of this size cannot be implemented. We very much regret this, ”said urban senior citizens' work.
Fastnachtsdisco as an alternative
But there is reason to be happy: As a creative alternative, the city invites all senior citizens to a happy carnival disco in Raiss on Friday, February 28, 2025. From 14.11 to 5.11 p.m., guests can expect a colorful afternoon with good entertainment, delicious crepe and exuberant atmosphere. Imaginative disguises are expressly desired - the most beautiful costume is awarded.
Mayor Jörg Rüddenklau comments: “The cancellation of the crepel café hurts us very much, but I am pleased that we can offer a creative and cost -covering alternative with the carnival disco. This solution shows how important it is to break new ground even in difficult times. "
