The 72nd concert series brings music from Falla to Gershwin to the stage
As the Dotter Foundation announces, the 72nd Dotter Concert take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in the Ernst-Ludwig-Saal in Darmstadt-Eberstadt. Under the title "Alles Pailletti!", the duo Passio will take the audience on a musical journey from Europe to the New World.
The program features works by Manuel de Falla, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Béla Bartók, and George Gershwin. It ranges from Spanish-influenced dances and Viennese Belle Époque pieces to American swing. The concert concludes with a selection from Gershwin's "Porgy and Bess," which captivates with its pulsating rhythm and vibrant diversity.
The duo Passio , consisting of Elena Martinez-Eisenberg and Çağla Gürsoy, is known for its passionate interpretations and genre-crossing joy in playing. The two musicians aim to make classical music accessible to a broad audience and combine virtuosity with a spirit of experimentation.
