Swimmers from Darmstadt shine at national competitions - offspring scores in Stuttgart, strong team performances in Berlin

After the successful international swimming festival in Darmstadt, the DSW 1912 e. V. active nationwide in important competitions. From May 1st to 4th, the athletes started at the German Championships in Berlin, the southern German championships in swimmer all -around in Stuttgart and in spring swimming in Hofheim - with strong results and new best times.
German championships in Berlin: final participation and strong team spirit

The DSW12 top and junior top team traveled to Berlin with head coach Georg Schneider. In the emotionally charged atmosphere of the German Championships, the DSW swimmers secured several final placements:
Relay results:
- 5th place, 4 × 100 m lay mixed (belly, Müller, Plücker, Auer)
- Place, 4 × 100 m were men
- Place, 4 × 100 m were women
Individual results (selection):
- Alexander Bauch: 3rd place A-final 50 m back (25.45 seconds), 5th place A-final 50 m butterfly (23.96 seconds, pb)
- Hannah Plücker: 6th place A-final 50 m butterfly
- Milena Auer: 2 × best time over 200 m chest and 200 m layers
- Tom Howorka: 1st place EYOF-RATION 50 m freestyle (24.42 seconds, qualification achieved)
South German championships in swimming all-around: young people show strength

At the swimming all-around in Stuttgart (May 3-4), the DSW talents from the 2013 and 2014 vintages showed up in top shape:
Top positions:
- Vivien Wiegand: 2nd place smk back
- Lilly Schreiber & Nora Michalk: 6th place SMK chest each
- Miia Bartash: 6th place SMK Kraul
- Amadeus Vittinghoff: 8th place smk back

Hofheim spring swimming: youngest DSW groups with strong best times
12 children from groups K1 and K2 started with great success at the spring swimming in Hofheim:
Highlights (selection):
- Tara Mertens (born 2017): 3 victories and strong best times about back and freestyle
- Sofie Bozhinoski (born 2017): 5 top 3 positions
- Sophia Bennani (born 2016): 3rd place 50 m butterfly (14 seconds under PB)
- Further best times at Sara El Youssi, Luis Blatt and other young talents
