Building office in the future electrically - ID.3 replaces old company vehicle
The building authority of the city of Reinheim is now on the road with a new electric service vehicle . The previous car, approved for the first time in 2012 and with around 220,000 kilometers of mileage significantly get old, was replaced by a used Volkswagen ID.3 .
The decision to change was made for economic and ecological reasons: the entertainment and repair effort of the old vehicle was no longer economically justifiable. The new vehicle-a three-year-old leasing return with a mileage of only 24,000 kilometers -was procured for around 20,000 euros .
Focus on climate protection and cost awareness
Mayor Manuel Feick emphasizes the importance of sustainable solutions in urban mobility:
as climate-neutral and inexpensively as possible when renewing or supplemented our vehicle fleet . Therefore I am very happy that we were able to acquire this vehicle as a leasing return."
With the electric vehicle, Reinheim sets another sign of climate-friendly mobility in the municipal fleet .
