Observe changed collection points
As every year, Darmstadt citizens can take off their disused Christmas trees (no plastic trees) at numerous collection points in the urban area from Monday, January 6th.
From there, it disposes of its own company for municipal tasks and services of the Science City of Darmstadt (EAD), which regularly starts the collection sites up to and including Friday, January 31. The trees must be completely freed from Christmas decorations like Lametta, as they are processed on the Darmstadt composting system.
Bleilametta can be released free of charge at the recycling courtyard of the EAD, Sensfelderweg 33, 64293 Darmstadt, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
