More information
Collection is only possible as part of the scheduled garden waste collection. Green waste in paper bags will not be collected during the regular organic waste bin emptying.
Wood pieces and rootstocks with a diameter exceeding ten centimeters can damage the collection vehicles and are therefore collected separately. This large wood, as well as other compostable waste from Darmstadt households, can be dropped off at the composting facility (Eckhardwiesenstraße 25) (opening hours: Mon–Fri 8 a.m.–4 p.m., Sat 8 a.m.–12 p.m.).
