Festive atmosphere in the historic town center – opening on November 28th.
Darmstadt-Eberstadt. When the scent of mulled wine, roasted almonds, and fir branches wafts through Oberstraße, Advent is just around the corner: The Eberstadt Christmas Market opens its gates on Friday, November 28, 2025 , at 6 p.m. For the 40th time , the market, organized by the Eberstadt Christmas Market Association, visitors to enjoy contemplative hours filled with music, encounters, and sparkling lights.
The official opening will take place on Saturday, November 29th, at 5:30 pm . As in previous years, the market will be located in the open area of the garden of the community center in the historic town center. Around 13 festively decorated stalls will offer handicrafts, treats, and gift ideas for the Advent season.
Music and entertainment on all Advent weekends
A varied program will provide festive entertainment until just before Christmas. Among the performers are the Boys of 69 , Manni Capello , the SG Weiterstadt Symphonic Wind Orchestra , the gospel choir "His Glory Music Ministry," and Nobby & the Bobcats .
A special highlight is Children's Day on Saturday, December 6th , featuring performances by the choirs and brass bands of the Eberstadt schools visit from St. Nicholas is also a must, who will delight the young guests with a surprise.
Whether listening to Christmas carols, warming up with a hot drink or browsing for handmade gifts – the Eberstadt Christmas market atmospheric Advent moments in the heart of Eberstadt again this year .
