Passport documents can be temporarily collected from the Darmstadt Citizens' and Public Order Office.
As the city of Darmstadt announces, the district administration and the registration office in Eberstadt will remain closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, until and including Friday, January 9, 2026.
Regulations for collecting passport documents
Until Tuesday, December 23, at 11:00 a.m., passport documents that have been ordered and already processed can still be picked up in Eberstadt.
From Friday, January 2, through Friday, January 9 , passports will be temporarily issued via the Citizens' and Public Order Office in Darmstadt .
Starting Monday, January 12 , regular pickup will again be available in Eberstadt.
