Exchange on facilities, projects and urban development
The 117th meeting of the Eberstadt-Süd district council will take place on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the form of a neighborhood walk. The meeting point is the entrance area of the Ludwig-Schwamb-School/Mühltal School at Nußbaumallee 6.
The event will be led by Jana Freund and Peter Grünig , both employees of the community outreach program at the Caritas Center Eberstadt South. The organizing team will be supported by Susanne Flath (Mobile Practice), Ludwig Achenbach (Eberstadt District Administration) , and volunteers Hannes Marb, Andreas May , and Nicole Holzapfel.
Neighborhood tour with insights into social institutions
The route leads to various facilities and locations in the south of Eberstadt, including:
- Daycare Center Pestalozzi House
- Former hospital and Arche Noris care center
- Fairy tale fountains and playgrounds in Brunnenweg
- Egg yolk café and children's clothing bank
The event will conclude with a joint meeting in the parish hall of St. George, Stockhausenweg 50.
The aim of the neighborhood council is to provide information about social, cultural, and educational facilities, to highlight current developments, and to create a forum for exchange. The council sees itself as a central, neighborhood-based coordinating body and represents the interests of residents to the administration and political bodies.
Participation expressly desired
For the residents of Eberstadt-Süd, the neighborhood council offers an opportunity to learn about ongoing projects, contribute their own ideas and actively participate in the further development of their district.
