Modernisation convoy supports owners in climate protection measures
The city of Darmstadt, a center of science and technology, is calling on property owners to participate in the free consultation service offered by the Modernization Convoy. Initial consultation appointments can be booked until June 7, 2026.
Individual consultation directly on site
The offer includes an initial consultation with an on-site appointment. This includes an analysis of the building's energy consumption, the existing heating technology, and its state of renovation.
Based on this, owners receive individual recommendations for energy-efficient renovation measures. These include suggestions for replacing the heating system, information on funding programs, and details on solar energy, greening, and sustainable building materials.
Contribution to the energy transition and cost reduction
According to the city, energy-efficient renovations make an important contribution to climate protection. At the same time, they can help to reduce energy costs, increase the value of the property, and improve the quality of living.
Climate protection officer Michael Kolmer emphasizes the importance of such measures: Saving energy and switching to future-proof heat supply are key steps to becoming more independent of fossil fuels.
