Playful learning for primary school children in Groß-Gerau
The Groß-Gerau District Adult Education Center (KVHS) is offering new English courses for primary school children in autumn 2025. The aim is to strengthen the children's language skills and self-confidence.
The courses are aimed at students in grades 3 and 4 (A1) and grades 4 and 5 (A1.2) . English is taught in an age-appropriate, playful, and practical way. Stories, songs, dances, and games help students actively experience and use the language.
In addition to promoting language skills, the courses also strengthen logical thinking and cultural understanding. Different learning styles – visual, auditory, or kinesthetic – are taken into account. Parents receive information about the textbook used at the start of the course.
The courses take place at Dornberg Castle in Groß-Gerau and are led by lecturer Yana Mihaylova. The participation fee for a nine-week course is €97.20.
