Long-serving board member will retire on June 30, 2026
ENTEGA AG is facing a change in its management board: Andreas Niedermaier will leave the company on June 30, 2026, at his own request. This was announced by the supervisory board following its meeting on March 19.
Over four decades of experience with the company
Niedermaier has been with the company since 1980 and has shaped its development for many years. Between 2000 and 2010, he held various leading positions in employee representative bodies, most recently as Chairman of the Group Works Council of the former HSE AG in Darmstadt.
Since October 1, 2010, he has been a member of the Executive Board of ENTEGA AG and is currently responsible for the areas of personnel and infrastructure.
Recognition by the Management Board and Supervisory Board
CEO Thomas Schmidt praised Niedermaier's long-standing commitment and his formative role for the company. His dedication to the workforce and his ability to shape the company's sustainability were particularly highlighted.
Mayor and Chairman of the Supervisory Board Hanno Benz also emphasized Niedermaier's importance for the development of ENTEGA AG – especially his role in challenging times and his ability to reconcile the interests of the company and its employees.
Decision on succession in May
The supervisory board is expected to decide on the successor to the board of directors on May 13, 2026 .
