Christmas parcel campaign brings gifts to social institutions in southern Hesse
During the Advent season, it has become a tradition again at ENTEGA : employees of the green energy supplier brought joy to children from social institutions in southern Hesse. This year marked the 15th annual Christmas gift drive , which once again brought smiles to children's faces.
Michelstadt Family Support Center and the Reinheim Children's Social Fund received gifts . In addition, children from the Darmstadt Women's Shelter and students from the Herder School in Darmstadt , a special needs school, also received lovingly chosen presents. Whether it was a volleyball, headphones, or wooden toys – the children's individual wishes were the focus.
The gifts were handed over on December 16, 2025 by ENTEGA board member Andreas Niedermaier , who personally participated in the event.
“Our employees are delighted to participate in this wonderful event every year. They are happy to be able to fulfill a small wish for children who are socially or otherwise disadvantaged. The gifts may only be a gesture, but they create beautiful memories,” said Niedermaier.
Wish list on the Christmas tree
At the beginning of Advent, children's wish lists were hung on Christmas trees at three ENTEGA locations . Employees could each choose a wish, buy the corresponding gift, and wrap it themselves. In this way, many individual contributions became a community effort that brought a special Christmas feeling to children in southern Hesse.
