Photovoltaic project impresses at anniversary competition “Strong in the club, strong for the climate”
As the green energy and telecommunications provider ENTEGA announces, the winners of the 2025 club competition have been determined. This year marked the tenth time the competition has been held, and once again it focused on the topic of climate protection. In the Darmstadt region, TSV 1911 Habitzheim eV prevailed with a photovoltaic project and received prize money of 1,500 euros.
Climate protection as the guiding principle of the campaign
The ENTEGA club initiative is aimed at groups that are actively engaged in climate protection through current or planned projects. ENTEGA board member Thomas Schmidt emphasizes the importance of this focus:
"We specifically support associations that prioritize climate protection. As a sustainably oriented company, this issue is also central to us."
Winning clubs from the Darmstadt region
A total of 90 clubs from six regions participated. Second through seventh place in the Darmstadt region—each with prize money between 500 and 1,000 euros—went to:
- Neue Bühne Darmstadt eV
- TV 1890 Semd eV
- Makerspace Darmstadt eV
- Friends of the Elly Heuss-Knapp School Association
- Turnverein 1891 Babenhausen eV
- Association for the Promotion of People with Disabilities Darmstadt eV
In addition, to mark the anniversary, three clubs were each awarded a voucher worth 150 euros.
Prize money and overview of the projects
